Nitrile is a synthetic material that resists chemicals like: petrol, oils, grease, diesel, hydraulic fluids, solvents, paint thinnners, acids, disinfectants and most alkalis. They have 3 times the puncture protection of latex and are often used by people with an allergy or intolerance to latex.
