NOJA Power Celebrates 20 Years in Operation

Australian switchgear engineers and manufacturing firm NOJA Power today celebrates 20 years since incorporation. Founded by Group Managing Director Neil O’Sullivan’ on the 31st of January 2002, the company has grown to export switchgear to 104 countries worldwide.

Neil was shortly joined by other founding directors, Oleg Samarski (Group Quality and Service Director), Jay Manne (Group Engineering Director) and Quynh Anh Le (Group Finance Director), forming the acronym NOJA.

“It has been a wonderful journey over the last 20 years, to grow our company from its inception, to having products in service today in 104 countries, four manufacturing locations around the world and developing to be one of the largest manufacturers of Reclosers in the world,” says NOJA Power Group Managing Director Neil O’Sullivan.

“We'd like to thank and acknowledge all of our stakeholders, including our most valuable asset, our employees, and our global customer base for trusting us to supply their medium voltage pole mounted Recloser requirements.”

“With our current research and development and the global focus, we're looking forward to continue our success in the future.”

20 years celebrations were held at the Brisbane manufacturing campus, joined by over 200 staff from the current operation. A short video showcasing some of the early days and milestones was prepared, showing the growth trajectory of the company from inception to become one of Australia’s largest privately owned manufacturers.
